Introduction

The all-inclusive Jolly Beach Resort & Spa is Antigua’s largest hotel with 464-rooms in low-rise buildings. The 40-acre property boasts a mile-long white sand beach, lovely tropical gardens a signature 8,000 sq ft Fantasy Pool. Nearby, the resort community of Jolly Harbour offers golf as well as additional shopping and dining.

Location

Jolly Beach Resort & Spa is about 7 miles from the Antiguan capital of St. John’s (and some nine miles from the airport) on the island’s south-west coast.

Rooms

There are six room categories, ranging from the smallest (the Supersaver) right up to junior suites with separate living areas and the two-bedroom and three-bathroom Beachfront Cottage. All rooms are air-conditioned and face the ocean; each has a patio or balcony, direct-dial phone, cable TV, hair-dryer and rentable safe.

Hotel Dining

Five restaurants and bars welcome you with friendly service and a delicious choice of menus from Caribbean to Italian, and refreshments that are all-included. Coconut Grill is serving barbecue, light grilled food and sandwiches, Hemispheres offers breakfast, lunch & dinner buffets, Ristorante Bocciolo offers Italian cuisine featuring homemade pasta; an antipasto bar, salads and entrees. Lydia's At Crab Hole Village is the place for fresh-caught seafood, Caribbean style, and Utsav is an Indian restaurant and features a selection from India’s many varied cuisines.

Activities

Two pools – one quiet, one the center of activity – are a refreshing escape under the warm Caribbean sun. Complimentary non-motorized water sports include beach snorkelling, windsurfing,   ocean kayaking, and pedal boats.  Free lessons are available in select water activities. There are four tennis courts with Omni-Tru surface; all lit for night play. Racquets and balls are available for a fee. Two full-court basketball courts are available during the day. Guests can arrange tee times at the resort’s NX Tour Desk for the nearby Jolly Harbour or Cedar Valley courses. Full array of Cybex equipment is available at the gym.  A certified fitness instructor is on-hand for individualized training and to lead aerobics and step classes.

Services

The all-inclusive price at Jolly Beach Resort & Spa covers accommodations, all taxes and service charges, all meals, snacks and afternoon tea, house brand beverages and cocktails, non-motorized water sports, 2 fresh water pools, gym and exercise classes, tennis, basketball and netball, Kidz Club, daily activities and nightly entertainment. WiFi access is now offered for a small fee, and is available in two of the superior room blocks, the reception area, the Courtyard and at the Quiet Pool. Seashells Gift Shop located on property offers a selection of resort fashions, Cuban cigars, gift items, books and sundries. There are a variety of shops and restaurants in Jolly Harbour and the Grand Princess Casino is located five minutes from Jolly Beach Resort & Spa. Babysitting is available for a modest charge. The new Palms Wellness Centre offers a full range of massage treatments and therapies. In addition, this tranquil haven boasts a fully equipped beauty salon and fitness center. Spa and beauty salon services are not included in regular all-inclusive rates. A Dollar Car Rental desk is located in the lobby.  Many of Antigua’s most popular excursions can be arranged through NX Tours including helicopter tours, horseback riding, deep sea fishing, and Paddles Eco Tour.
